Pleased with all the artists who played and all the people who came. Hyasynth opened the night strong in a pretty vintage dress a-la-Virgin Suicides. Diva and Puro. Vex & Dam. Wolf and Michael. Lots of friends and family and neighbors and strangers.
Sarah was my right hand. Missy, Amy, Nikki, Mele, Alexandra, Nicole, Sophia and Yonaly also helped keep it together. Candace, Jean, and Gwen sweet company. Even met a girl who came out on her due date.

Whereas my previous shows featured DJs only, this one will incorporate live acts as well.
The DJ’s will be Peanut Butter Wolf who will be spinning all music videos from female artists, Dam-Funk who is doing an all new wave set, and Michael Stock of Part Time Punks and the live performers will be Puro Instinct, Diva Dompé (formally of Pocahaunted) and Vex Ruffin. The show is open to the public from 7:30-11:30pm with a pop-up boutique selling my creations which I only sell on my website.
Diamond in the rough: The Highland Park Ebell Club House

The Historic Highland Park Ebell Club will be the venue for my fifth Buddy Society show. Build in 1913, this prairie styled hall (recognized in 1984 by the city of LA as a cultural monument) has been a women’s club for over a century. Check out the photo of their 25th anniversary from 1928!
As the Ebell’s work mainly focuses on benefiting women, we will be giving all proceeds from the event to the program.
I first discovered the club in 92′ partaking in a Miss Teen holiday pageant they hosted granting scholarships. So now here I am reconnecting with the space and discovering they’ve been quietly struggling the past few years to get by. Decided then that HP was ready for the next Buddy Society show. Stop in and check out my new fashion work and help preserve this beauty on May 21st.

Searching for vintage bears the past year. Along the way I found a 1977 Darkin Smokey the Bear teddy bear, 1983 Playful Pals bear, 1960 Chad Valley mohair bear & 1979 Daekor Pot Belly bear, just a few of the buddies that will be part of the next collection.
Also been working on the next Buddy Society show. This will be my collections fifth show and it’s scheduled for May 21 in L.A. More details coming soon.
